Today we are going to learn 5 easy card flourishes to start learning Cardistry. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner because all these five card flourishes have something in common: anybody can do them! This is the video I would have liked to find when I started learning card tricks some years ago, a compilation of 5 easy moves for somebody who has never touched a deck of playing cards. I have tested these card flourishes with a lot of friends in the past few years and I can say these are Cardistry moves that are really easy to learn. Specially the first two ones :) I hope you enjoy this video! And if so don't forget to hit the LIKE button! And also subscribe! ;) COMMENT if you want to learn The Werm (a classic card flourish), and if I see some people interested on it, I can film a tutorial soon :) Download The Card Tricks Book HERE: 🤍 Follow me: Instagram: 🤍 Facebook: 🤍 Twitter: 🤍 My Other Channel: 🤍 Peace and Magic! :)

Full Playlist: 🤍 - - Like these Magic lessons !!! Check out the official app 🤍 Watch more Card Flourishes & Sleight of Hand videos: 🤍 Hi, I'm Mike Patrick, and this is How to do a Cascade, a shuffle flourish. You take the cards, you shuffle them, and you allow them to simply cascade into your other hand. The method is that you must do a pharaoh shuffle. The better your shuffle is, the more smooth the cascade will fall. If you have big gaps in between it won't look so good, so this is why you wouldn't do it with a riffle shuffle. You need a lot of precision. So you do a pharaoh shuffle and you put them into an upside down "v". It looks like a "v" from my perspective, but you do it like this. You'll have to experiment with your hand size exactly where you want the cards to be positioned. You go into this like you're going and you place your thumb in between here, and I can hold this like this indefinitely. When you're ready to do the cascade, your pinky is here, your index finger is here, your thumb is on top, you place your other hand underneath, and you simply let go with your thumb. The cards will fall naturally in this position, and you'll have to deal with the fear of them falling all over the place a few times. Once you get past that to just let go and they will fall straight into a cascade. I often don't even bother using my thumb. What I do is I just shuffle them, position them, get these cards in a position I just let this hand drop right in front and it starts immediately. It's a very, very impressive way to end your shuffle. That's how you do a cascade.
Full Playlist: 🤍 - - Like these Magic lessons !!! Check out the official app 🤍 Watch more Card Flourishes & Sleight of Hand videos: 🤍 This is how to do a ribbon spread turnover. You hold the deck of cards in your hand and you have it slightly beveled. That means you place it like this and you get an angle going towards your hand so you should get an angle like this and you place your index finger over the side. So your third, fourth and fifth fingers are riding along the edge and you have your index finger along this end. You place it down into a surface and apply even pressure as you go in a straight line or an arc, if you like to do it like this, across the mat. It's important that you just don't try to match the cards because you'll get a very uneven spread that will be very thick at one end. So the important part, once again, is to have the bevel, place your finger over and just spread the cards. To turn them over, you need a surface like this is a closet mat but it also works on a carpet or anything that will have friction. It won't really work on a table so well because it will immediately just flip and the cards won't work. So what you do is you grab one end and you place your finger on top and you can ride right across turning the entire spread over. This can go back and forth if you like, shuu, shuu, and you can even split it in the middle. So if you go to about the center, place the other finger on top, you can make two peaks go back and forth like this. The danger is that it will split like that occasionally so I usually just do the spread like this and pick them up. And that's how you do the ribbon spread.

Full Playlist: 🤍 - - Like these Magic lessons !!! Check out the official app 🤍 Watch more Card Flourishes & Sleight of Hand videos: 🤍 Hi. I'm Mike Patrick and this is how to do a basic Sybil style cut. It looks like this and this is the basic explanation. The angle of how the cards are going to move is a little bit difficult to describe, so I'm going to show you step-by-step and you should follow along like this. First, we're going to get into what's referred to as Z position. That means being like this. A lot of times you will try to do these individual steps. It should all be in one clip. So, first thing that you're going to practice is just lifting up of small packet of cards off the top of the deck. If you can do that, the next part should be relatively simple. You place your thumb on the back portion of the deck and by lifting up this packet will also moving forward. As long as your thumb is contacting that back part you should go into an automatic Z position like this. So, once you get the hang of doing the Z, that'll make the next part possible. The next thing that you need to learn before we go into the full cut is this: I pick up the cards and now my left hand is going to rotate and I'm going to grip these two corners but I'm going to essentially reverse my hand. So, what happens is this: I lift up this packet; I twist; and now my thumb is over here, and this is here; and I'm going to bring this forward. So, this is the action that you should do. This. You're just going to bring this forward a few times like this. These are very important to understand the motion that's about to happen. You're going to do both of those essentially at the same time. You go into Z, like so. Now, this packet's in the way. It shouldn't really make a difference. It's not much more difficult. It'll feel like it's in the waytry to ignore it. When you're in Z, you grip the packet like I described, like we're gripping in the air, but you're in Z. Then, you allow these cards to come around it. I extend my index finger to provide clearance. Once I'm here, I now push my index finger forward and I allow it to swing around and then I bring my index finger in. Now, my index finger is going to contact this outer right hand corner as these cards are coming down. This will bring this packet out to the front. To close this Sybil, you're going to bring your index finger around; you're going to swivel these cards; they're going to travel around your left middle finger. So, these cards get swiveled like this. I crawl my index finger underneath and I allow them to flip over on to the stack. So, if I have this in the middle again, all I do is I have it around this middle finger and then I use my index finger to flick it over. In speed, the entire cut looks like this. You can also combine this Sybil into different chains. So, if you were to do a Sybil cut and you get to this position instead of just flipping it over I do two one-handed cuts and close like this. It allows it to have a much more elegant feel and make your flourishes more complicated. Experiment and play and you'll be just fine.

Full Playlist: 🤍 - - Like these Magic lessons !!! Check out the official app 🤍 Watch more Card Flourishes & Sleight of Hand videos: 🤍 Hi. I'm Mike Patrick and this is how to do a one-handed shuffle. It looks like this. You take the cards and shuffle them with one hand like this. The grip is a little bit unusual. You have three fingers on one end of the deck and your pinky and thumb on the other side. So, if I remove the deck, it's like this and if I place the deck back it's around here. What you're going to do is divide approximately, and you want this to be relatively exact, you want to get half the deck to break off with your thumb. I lift up with my thumb here. These two fingers let go let go at this point. I'm going to move my thumb counterclockwise, pivoting along the index finger and this packet is going to move clockwise. This is what it's going to look like. These two move at the same rate until they're here. The two outer fingers now regroup this edge and pull it so that they are even with each other. It's a very slight adjustment when this happens, about a quarter of an inch, depending on your hand size. You then take the two back portions and you shuffle those together with even pressure from your thumb. This is going to take the most work. One more time, you have the pinky here and the thumb. You break upwards with your thumb. Your fingers move out of the way. It pivots around the index finger so they swirl on opposite directions. I reapply those two fingers, aligning the packets. And now I place those together and I cause them to weave at an angle. So now I should have sort of a V from my perspective. Now the cards are ready to be bridged. I turn them over. I apply pressure like in a normal shuffle and I let go of them. They will fall over the floor when you try to do this. It's unavoidable but eventually you can use your hand or cradle if you feel more comfortable. But eventually over time you should just be able to do it in the air like this. I'll go over it really slowly one more time. The pinky is here towards this pip on that side. The thumb breaks the packet. I remove these fingers and I pivot this across. They're aligned with each other. These cards get farrowed the other cards and then I turn over and I shuffle them like this. Here's one quick variation that I can show you that I do. You can cut off about a third of the deck. If you do that, when these cards are in this orientation you can use your index finger to move this packet forward so this just pivots along these, goes into this hand, and you do a thumb cut so your thumb comes over. This opens up. And you can shuffle these into each other. This is going like this. And then you close. You see that in speed it looks like this. And that is how to do a one-handed shuffle.
Thanks for tuning in! 3pac Shakur is an original flourish which looks fancy and is really easy to learn! Today we are going to learn a super cool and easy card flourish in this tutorial for beginners! The Sybil cut is a classic Cardistry move, probably one of the most important to learn when you start learning card manipulation. In this video we are going to learn the Five Faces of Sybil, a classic move created by Chris Kenner. For a lot of cardists (me included), the Sybil is the foundation of Cardistry. The root of our Art. We are going to learn also some modifications using a different display, a closer variation, the 4 Faces Sybil and a final trick to repeat the core of the move all the time creating an amazing cycle card flourish. This is one of the videos that I would have appreciate it when I started some years ago. I hope you enjoy it and find it useful as well.
